We recently noticed some people experienced problems with the instagram bottom feed and we therefore created this small guide to fix it.

Step 1)  Download and activate this new plugin inside you WordPress dashboard: WP Instagram Widget
Link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-instagram-widget/

Step 2) Copy and paste the following codes into the “Styling: Custom CSS” box inside the customizer menu (Appearance –> Customize):

#instagram-bottom { text-align:center; overflow:hidden;}
.instagram-title {margin-bottom:20px; text-transform:uppercase; letter-spacing:1px; font-size:14px; }
#instagram-bottom .instagram-pics li { width:12.5%; display:inline; float:left;}
#instagram-bottom .instagram-pics li img { max-width:100%; vertical-align:middle;}
#instagram-bottom .instagram-pics li img:hover { opacity:.87; }
#instagram-bottom p.clear { font-size: 11px; border-bottom: 1px solid #eee; display: inline-block; margin-top: 5px; }
ul.instagram-pics { border-top: 3px solid #000; border-color: #000; }
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #instagram-bottom .instagram-pics li { width:25%;} }

Step 3) Save your customizer menu and go to Appearance –> Widgets.

Step 4) Remove the old “Instagram Slider” widget and add the new “Instagram” widget.

Configure it like the screenshot below (with your own username):

Step 5) Save the widget and you are finished! Make sure to reload your homepage to see the updated slider.
